Project 42 Awarded Funding for New Unpaid Carers Workshop in Bellshill

Thursday, May 8th, 2025

North Lanarkshire Carers Together today confirmed that they have awarded Project 42 with £3000 from their Carer Breather Programme, also known as the Time for Me fund which supports unpaid carers to take meaningful and consistent breaks.

The workshops, which will run in the Bellshill area of North Lanarkshire, will be a celebration of Art and Music and will kick off with an open day where, if you are an unpaid carer over the age of 16, you can come along and experience a taster of some of the themes of the workshops that we will be delivering as well as try your hand at some of the weird, wonderful and ordinary musical instruments we have.

The Project 42 Time for Me workshops will run for a period of 1 year and more information about when the open day will be, and when the workshops will begin, will be made to NLCT very soon, so that they can refer the service users to us. In the meantime, we have a very short online survey that we are urging unpaid carers to complete which will help us form how we deliver these workshops. You can find the survey here.
